These polyethylene grease traps are a great option when maximum corrosion resistance is required. Our plastic grease interceptors prevent grease, fats, and oil from entering and damaging sewage lines by using a simple but very effective hydromechanical process. Like all grease traps, they require an external flow control in front that acts as a blockage to the inlet line, ensuring that the waste flow rate doesn’t exceed the intermittent gallon per minute flow recommendations.
Tested and certified to PDI-G101 standards, they are able to withstand continuous usage even at temperatures up to 212 degree fahrenheit. They come standard with an external flow control device, female NPT inlet and outlet connection and a polyethylene cover that is secured with stainless steel screws.
Designed for flush-with-floor or on-the-floor installation, they are available in a wide range of sizes. Our smallest plastic grease interceptor offers an intermittent flow rate of 7 gallons per minute with a 5.6 gallon holding capacity and a 30 lb. grease capacity. The largest one we carry can handle an intermittent flow rate of 300 gallons per minute with a 560 holding capacity and 2,822 lb. grease capacity.
