Lint separators are used by commercial laundromats, hotels, hospitals, hair salons, dog groomers and other businesses that rely heavily on washing machines. Using a simple lighter-than-water gravity design, they separate lint, string, buttons and other debris from water waste into separate, easy-to-clean compartments. This not only prevents backups by keeping the drain and plumbing lines clear of clogs, but also helps reduce the cost of drain maintenance.
Interceptors Direct stocks four (4) commercial washing machine lint interceptors. Depending on the model, they can handle wastewater for facilities with one to 20 commercial washing machines.
Manufactured by Rockford Separators, all of our lint interceptors are designed for both on the floor and flush-with-floor installation and include 1 stationary 3/8” perforated stainless screen and 1 removable 3/16” perforated stainless screen for easy cleaning. Each washer lint filter is manufactured using 10-gauge all-welded steel construction for superior performance and durability. For easy installation, models are equipped with a 2-inch, 3-inch or 4-inch threaded inlet/outlet connector, depending on the size of the unit. They feature a double-walled outside trap seal and internal vent connections that prevent pressure from building up inside the unit. An enamel coating is used on the inside and the outside to maximize corrosion resistance. They also feature a removable 3/16″ pedestrian friendly non-skid tread plate cover that is sealed with a durable leak-proof gasket.
