Solids interceptors are used in conjunction with grease interceptors. Installed at the front end of the system, they collect food waste solids, preventing them from entering and clogging up the grease interceptor.
Interceptors Directs stocks seven (7) RPS series solids interceptors, designed to be used along with the corresponding Rockford Separators RP Series grease interceptor. Depending on the model, they can handle flows from 7 to 50 gallons per minute with sludge capacities from 27 to 201 pounds. All of our grease interceptors are manufactured by Rockford Separators, and are built for durability using all-welded steel construction.
They can be installed using a flush-with-floor, partially recessed, or on-the-floor design. Features include a removable waste basket that makes cleaning out collected sediment a snap, along with a removable cover that is sealed with a durable leak-proof gasket. For easy installation, models are equipped with a 2-, 3- or 4-inch threaded inlet/outlet connector, depending the size.
